Drizly solves: Contacting delivery customers

Worried about getting stood up on a delivery? Don’t be, because we made getting in touch with customers about an active Drizly order easier and safer than ever before for liquor stores like you.
From the order details page, you can click the ‘CONTACT’ button in the top right corner. This will connect the driver with the customer via a private communication session that protects each of your personal phone numbers.
The CONTACT screen will display a list of common reasons to text the customer depending on the status of the order. Choosing one of these “quick-chat” options will open a private text message to the customer with information ready to send.
Texting uses the same private communication session to safely connect you and the customer. You can text and call back and forth between this private number until the order is complete, upon which the session will expire.
For gift orders, it’s important that you resolve any product-related questions or substitutions with the gift buyer, not the recipient.
As for the delivery itself, pressing the CONTACT button on a gift order will give you the option to contact the Delivery Recipient (person receiving the gift) or the Gift Buyer (the person purchasing the gift). As with standard orders, this connection will be made via a private number until the order is complete.
